I was emptying my spam mail folder this morning. I'm is bored.


"I caught my mom doing some guy on the computer and the internet."

So, you mean she was doing the guy on the computer? That sounds uncomfortable. I mean, where would you put your feet? Not to mention (too late) the clean up involved. I don't think those compressed air cleaners will get that out of the keyboard. Yick. And the internet...so, they browsed while they did it? *is amazed by their talent* Wo-- but wait. You stayed and watched? Ew, dude.

You again? Geez, you really need to look into seeing a shrink. But anyway. She caught Nude on video? How'd she manage to do that? I've been looking for Nude for years, but it keeps alluding me. Bastard Nude. Hey! What's so special about your mom? I mean, sure she can do guys on the computer and the internet, but who's to say that MY mom couldn't have found Nude? Pssh.

We had my state-side baby shower this past Saturday. Much fun was had by me. I hope the guests enjoyed themselves. We got even more stuff, which I didn't think was possible. We now have the crib and dresser, so he'll have a place to sleep and we can put his clothes away. Yay! He also got a car seat (which is how I spell relief, by the way. C-A-R-S-E-A-T. 'Cuz. The hospital won't let you take the baby home without one.), 3-stage feeding chair, a toddler stroller (so now we have two, one when he's wee little, and one for when he's a toddler), a Diaper Genie, the famous Boppy pillow, a fancy-schmancy microwave steam sterilizer (So high-tech. I remember sterilizing bottles by putting them in boiling water.)

Apparently, the gifts aren't quite finished yet...both The Mighty O's Moms and my aunt still have something they want to give us that we don't have yet.

Oh my goodness. And crwilley made a blanket for Ky. It's absolutely beautiful. I am in awe of her powers of knitting/crocheting. I have it set to go in the baby wash, because he's coming home in his blankie.

Thank you so much, mightyafrodite, for putting it all together. I'd be lost without you, Sis. Thank you for being there for me thru everything. I only hope I can return the favor someday. Much love.

Sunday. That morning fmh, gamerngeek and dadandgirl took all three girls to the movies (part of the celebration of the girl-half's birthday. She's not supposed to be eight.) I was really achey and tired, so I stayed at home with the intention of coming to the CareBear's party later that afternoon. It was not to be. The fellas took the kids straight to the party after their outing, and I didn't have a way to get there...which was really all academic, since I couldn't stay awake anyway. I mean it. I slept ALL DAMNED DAY.

So ready to have this baby.

This is my last week at work. Much cleaning up and packing as the week rolls along. I meet the temp tomorrow and I guess we'll just sit and kind of go thru the basics of my job here. In theory, not a difficult task, but I don't know how good of a teacher I am, so...we'll see how that goes.
