malu got all fucking A's on her last report card for the semester.

and kieran has this thing for those geico commercials with the googly-eyed bundle of money, so he'll go on you tube to find them.
i looked over his shoulder to watch him look for the videos, and he had typed in this:
"geco comercial."
MY SON IS FOUR. AND HE WAS ONLY OFF BY TWO LETTERS.
the conversation went like this:
kieran: are those two boys kissing?
me: yes, baby, they are.
kieran: how come? do they love each other?
me: i think they do.
kieran: oh okay. that's good.
MY SON IS AMAZING, OKAY.

fmh asked him who it was, and kieran said, "'das ozymandias." this didn't surprise me -- i've taught him the names of all the watchmen because he asked me. :shrugs:
what completely blew my mind was that not a minute after he said "ozymandias,"
he said "david bowie."

you would never know that he banged up his face almost beyond recognition a few weeks ago.

fmh is telling me, he was pushing kendra in her stroller, pushed it too far, stroller went down the stairs and he held on to it to try and stop it.kendra is fine.
kieran's got a pretty nasty abrasion on the left side of his face, and the area around his eye is swollen. they've taken him to university of michigan children's hospital where they're going to run a cat scan along with some other tests, i'm sure. the emts didn't seem to think that it was serious, calling the ambulance was a 'better to be safe than sorry' measure. my mother has gone to the hospital with him, so
fmh could stay here with the baby and to keep the girls from freaking out. i just got home from work -- trying to stay positive and not freak out myself.ooo excitement.
Just give her a few more months.
