ficadron, a ron/draco fic fest where you play for either team ron or team draco. they give two participants a prompts - one from each team, and then they duke it out, so to speak, with fic or art.why oh why did i do this, knowing my deadline-a-phobia?
because apparently i'm a glutton for punishment. and because i really, really love ron/draco.

So, the fic I was working on for the R/D Exchange had strayed COMPLETELY away from the recipient's tastes, so I changed tactics and stuck to what I really do best: PWP. It'll be substantially shorter, but more of what the recipient wanted in the first place. I've already got over 2000 words, so I've met that requirement, at least. :stresses:

I was re-reading the snippet that a dear friend sent to me, and the whole time I'm thinking, "Nothing I write will ever be this good, I don't know why I bother."
I made a commitment, and I want to see it through, but everything is starting to sound trite and boring and I kindof want to give up.

In the part I'm writing, the fellow in question is approximately 16 to 17 years old. Now, would that be a boy or a man? Technically, I suppose he'd be a teen, but I don't want to use that. Then this prompt came up, and I... I fell in love with it. I mean, I fell in love with it so hard that I would MARRY it if such a thing was possible.
:swoons: The plot bunny hit me so hard and so fast that it scared me.
Even then though, I was like, "I'm totally not going to sign up. Because it's going to suck...and that's if I even finish it on time."
I'm going to do it. It's like something is pushing at me, telling me that I have to write this. That's never happened before.
