guess what i just went and did?

i signed up to write for the ficadron, a ron/draco fic fest where you play for either team ron or team draco. they give two participants a prompts - one from each team, and then they duke it out, so to speak, with fic or art.

why oh why did i do this, knowing my deadline-a-phobia?

because apparently i'm a glutton for punishment. and because i really, really love ron/draco.

ergh, deadlines. :wrings hands:

I'm intrigued by this action! I do love that you've been writing R/D (and I will comment on the shower one soon; need to not be on holiday first) and I'm glad that people seem to be rallying more than in recent (years?) now that mamalaz is all over the R/D communities again. I do think that any new contributions to R/D from me will be few and far between; not to be obtuse, but while I'll gladly read some new things (especially your CoR story, hint hint), I need to buckle down and focus on the Wraeththu novella.

It's been wonderful: all the new work flowing from our amazing writers, both old and new. It's nice to be a part of it all.

I think mamalaz and stuckinsea should be named official R/D cheerleaders. It's amazing, they way they can rally the crew together.

CoR is coming along nicely, when I have the time to write. I've discivered that Cherry Coke is extremely beneficial to my writing process. IDEK. Also, I came up with a positively lovely pattern for Ron -- I just have to figure out how to explain the ties. :p
