[livejournal.com profile] fmh and a couple of other people told me they were making a movie of "Choke" by Chuck Palahniuk...it'll be interesting to see how they pull this off. I hope it opens somewhere in my neck of the woods -- I'd like to see it.

Ok, so do I need to read these damn Twilight books?

I know the gist of the story and that Edward Cullen is a dazzling vampire who will cut your brakes because he loves you, even if it's not even fucking raining. ORRRRRR. I could have all of that wrong, too. I don't know WTF is going on.

Srsly, are they worth reading?

TELL ME TELL ME.

This is the header over at [livejournal.com profile] rpattz_trufax. IDK who made it, but it's FANTASTIC, Y/Y?

The Big Read thinks the average adult has only read six of the top 100 books they've printed below.

01. Look at the list and bold those you have read.
02. Italicise those you intend to read
03. Underline the books you LOVE.
04. Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've only read 6 and force books upon them. :p READING IS GOOD FOR YOU, DAMMIT.

So far this year, I've read 19 books. My goal is 50 for the year, but I don't know that it's going to happen. I'd thought about joining [livejournal.com profile] 50bookchallenge, but they like you to add a review of some sort for each book you read, and frankly, I just can't be arsed to do it. :p

In the past 2 weeks, I've been on a steady diet of books by Augusten Burroughs. All six of them, and the only reason it took *that* long is because I had to wait for three of them to come in to the library.

Augusten, you need to write another book, goddammit.
