I have a copy of the Ron!cover of Entertainment Weekly in my possession, and all is right with the world.

From [livejournal.com profile] shunemo711...

A) Bold the names of guys you'd definitely shag.
B) Possibly shag after a little persuasion, put in italics.
C) Leave the ones you don't know of or wouldn't want to shag alone.
D) Strike the ones you wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.
E) Add one of your own at the end.

I have too much time on my hands. )

I received this little gem of an e-mail from the mod @ lou taylor pucci web yesterday:

Hey Mona!

I don't know if you have seen the good news on the site yet but you're finally the winner at the graphic contest. But it has been kinda hard -- 2 of your wallpapers have gotten 13 points (each of them) so they're both at the first place. Someone has made a drawing that has gotten 11 points. :P

Anyway, I always thought you would win.

It would be great if you could give me your complete home address so that I can send you the dedicated picture as soon as possible.

Congratulations again!!

So yeah. They were having this graphics contest over there, so naturally I had to enter something. The prize? An autographed picture of my Lou. The mod (the dear) took a picture of him signing the picture for authenticity and stuff.

Now I'll have two autographed photos -- one of Josh Homme (khdskadfhi) and now one of my Lou.

I know none of you care, but I had to tell something.

Now. Please excuse me while I go off to fangirl.

*fangirls*

I did a new header for my crap journal. I love this picture. Emma's got this look on her face that says, "Yeah...and I'm doing both of 'em. Swordfights and shit, y0. W3RD."

Cruxh0r.

Srsly though. Don't play you hate her. Play you hate somebody else.

Real Life is boring and ush. So I'm not going to post about it.

Now for much funner things!

[livejournal.com profile] fmh and I have taken to watching the anime series, Fruits Basket. If you've never heard of it, here's the gist: There is this family, the Sohmas, who is cursed. When a member of the family is hugged by a member of the opposite sex, or when they suffered from severe stress, they transform into an animal from the Chinese zodiac. (Which makes me wonder...how do they keep ending up with Sohmas...usually there's some type of embrace to be had during sex...right?) Anyway, they've been able to keep this a secret for ages, but then this girl, Tohru Honda, accidently discovers it. And chaos ensues. And stuff.

It's a great show, and I say this as a person who's not a big anime fan. Some of the characters are downright scary (see Ayame), or annoying to the point of committing violence (see Momiji). And nobody apologizes as much as Tohru. She'll apologize for your hamster getting caught in its wheel, Chernobyl, the election of Dubya, the crucifixion of Christ...everything.

One of my favorite characters are Shigure, one of the oldest members of the family. He's a writer who lives to screw with his editor's head. And he has this fascination with high school girls. He even sings about it on occassion. I am so serious.

"...high school girls...high school girls..."

Another is Hatsuharu. Split personality. Can go from cool to omgwtfcrazy in 0.4 seconds. And his hair is two different colors. He even took a guy in the men's room to prove it.

The Collar of Fur pwns you.

But Kyo. That boy has eated my heart. *sigh* He's rude, brash, foul-tempered and has a chip on his shoulder the size of a redwood. But I love him to bits. No doubt because of what Kyo looks like.

Yeah. You see how it is.
(IT'S RON WEASLEY. IT SO IS. OMG.)

And of course, there's this long time rivalry between Kyo and Haru. So the first time they meet, they start to fight, and...

Yeah. You definitely see how that is.
It's R/D in anime!!1
I curse/kiss the animators for it.

Anyhoo. Fangirling aside. It's an awesome show. [livejournal.com profile] fmh and I often laugh out loud while watching it. 'Tis the funnest. Highly recommended and FDA approved.

In other spam, Tom Felton has apparently taken to pretending to use his wand to teach his...er...wand to do tricks.

Tom Felton, I hate you and everything you stand for.

I've asked Ben Foster to take it easy on me with the shirtless, denim-y, winged action for Angel in X-Men 3.
Because a girl could fall in deep lust with something like that.

He is not listening. Bastard.

God, but I love fanservice.

Cho kiss 'the talk of OotP film'

The on-screen kiss between Potter stars Dan Radcliffe and Katie Leung is causing quite a stir on the set of the fifth film - Order Of The Phoenix.

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione, told Newsround that the kiss was "the gossip" of the movie.

Dan and Katie, who play Harry and Cho, were meant to film the scene earlier, but Dan got ill, so it was put back.

"Katie escaped, but I will get her," joked Dan.* Katie said she was "excited and nervous" about the scene.

The young actress added that they intended to be "very professional" about the kiss, but Emma couldn't resist a cheeky comment, saying she would be "sniggering in the background".

Looking forward to OotP, producer David Heyman told Newsround that the film will probably come out in the summer or autumn of 2007, with Half-Blood Prince set to follow in 2008.

But Potter fans won't have to wait that long for a glimpse of what's to come.

David told Newsround that a trailer can be expected "some time towards the end of the year".

*At this quote, I giggle like an idiot. I love DanRad's adorkableness. But he makes my gaydar melt. He does.

Emma? For the love of fuck, SHUT IT. Siriusly (which reminds me -- Gaz is officially back, yay!). Just. Shut. It.

Why is "the kiss" such an event? I may have to read OotP again, but if my memory serves me well (with coffee and bagel) did we even see/read the kiss? Wasn't it kind of like:

Cho: "Wubba wubba wubba sob, I miss Cedric liek woah."
Harry: "Yeah, Voldemort killed him and that sux0r. He was a good cha--ooh, you're standing under the mistlytoes!"

...

Harry: "Dude. I totally kissed Cho, dude."
Ron: "Oh snap! 'Das my nigga! How was it, dawg?!"
Harry: "Wet. Liek woah."

Ok, so maybe it wasn't like that. But I remember it like that. And my version is more funnier.

O_O...expect a trailer by the end of the year?! *falls out*
