Yu Yu Hakusho

1. The first character I first fell in love with:
KURAMA~ He's pretty and wears pink and has red hair and turns into a demon fox. I was pretty much toast.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Yusuke. I was so blinded by Kurama's AMAZINGNESS that I didn't think there'd be room for anyone else. I was wrong, though. I ♥ Yusuke.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Keiko. She bugs me.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Well, I don't know who everyone else hates, so.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:
I thought I was going to like Yomi at first, but then I realized that he was trying to steal Kurama away from Hiei and then I didn't like him anymore.

6. The character I would shag anytime:
EEESH. This is a difficult question. I think it would depend on the kind of shag I'm looking for. If it's a slow, romantic sort of thing - Kurama. If it's more of your rough and ready kind of action - Hiei.

7. The character I'd want to be like:
Kurama. He's very smart and analytical -- he thinks things out before he acts, and that's something I could benefit from.

8. The character I'd slap:
Hmm. Yomi. He needs to fuck off and die. KURAMA DOESN'T LOVE YOU, STUPID.

Hiei/Kurama, Hiei/Yusuke/Kurama, Yusuke/Koenma, Yusuke/Botan.

Yusuke/Keiko, Kurama/Yomi, Hiei/Mukuro

Urgh. I don't know.

I ADORE Kuwabara, but I can't ship him with anyone. Not even Yukina, and that's canon. It's not deep or dark or a secret, but I thought I'd mention it.


Ouran High School Host Club

1. The first character I first fell in love with:
TAMAKI! :snuggles him: He's so over the top.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Kyouya. He's chilly and calculating, but there's a warmth in him that is so endearing, I eventually ended up in love with him.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Probably Haruhi. She just. I don't hate her -- she just kind of irritates me. Apparently I have a problem with female leads.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
I...don't know that there is one.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:
Again, I don't have one.

6. The character I would shag anytime:
OH GOD. TAMAKI. (But I'd rather watch him shag Kyouya.)

I'd like to be more like Kyouya. He's good with finances, and I'm. Not.

Éclair (from the anime). Bitch.

TAMAKI/KYOUYA. They call each other "Mommy" and "Daddy" for fuck's sake.

Tamaki/Haruhi. She'll never make Tono really happy. Not like Kyouya would.

Tamaki, Kyouya, Renge (she's crazy and I love her), Kaoru and Hikaru.

Haruhi, Honey, Éclair...I don't have any other ones.

Hmm. Ryoji Fujioka (Harurhi's father). I have the same "Mama Bear" mentality. I protect my own.

Harry Potter

1. The first character I first fell in love with:
RON. I pretty much loved Ron from the jump. I've always always always been drawn to the sidekick, so. And the fact that he's funny and has red hair pretty much sealed the deal.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Neville. He always seemed like such a throwaway character in the first few books, but it was OotP that turned me around. We really got to see the pain and loss that Neville has suffered with, and he doesn't let it stop him -- he's strong and he fights the good fight, even though he knows he might not win it. And then in DH, when he came back into the story and he was all, "YEAH I WAS TORTURED BUT HEY THAT'S LIFE IN THE VOLDEMORT ORDER." Like he'd be in 'Nam, or some shit. I FELL IN SMUSHY LOVE WITH NEVILLE AT THAT MOMENT.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Hermione. I can't stand her and her "I KNOW EVERYTHING AND YOU DON'T NYAH" attitude really pisses me off. Being smart =/= being right. I just. Fuck. I fucking hate her.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Draco. GOD HE'S SUCH A LITTLE SHIT, ISN'T HE? But I love him. I can't help it. And not in that "I know there's good in you somewhere" kind of way. More of that "OOH COME HERE AND ORDER ME AROUND YOU BAD THING" kind of way. DON'T JUDGE ME.

5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:
I don't think there is one, honestly.

6. The character I would shag anytime:
RON RON RON.

7. The character I'd want to be like:
I'd like to be more like Luna. She sees the good in just about everything, and she's such a free spirit. She doesn't let people's opinions of her bring her down.

8. The character I'd slap:
Other than Hermione? Probably Ginny. She's a Mary Sue and she pisses me off.

9. A pairing[s] that I love:
RON/DRACO, obvs.

10. A pairing[s] that I despise:
Harry/Draco. Just. NO. Okay, I had a talk with whisperings and I still don't necessarily like H/D, but I won't go as far as despising them. So I'm changing my answer to Draco/Hermione. YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO CONVINCE ME THAT THAT SHIT MAKES SENSE.

RON.

Ron, Draco, Neville, Luna, Hagrid

13. My five least favorite characters:
Hermione, Ginny, Umbridge, Tonks...I can't think of a fifth.

Probably Molly Weasley. I'm a mom.

In my dirty mind, Ron should belong to all the Malfoy males. Draco, Lucius and Scorpius. FFFFF.

Well, to be honest, it's not the pairing as much as the way I usually see them written.

In nearly every H/D I've read, the author has turned Draco into somebody who's nasty because he father told him to be that way, or he was abused, molested, etc. (Which reminds me -- why do some many writers make Lucius some child abuser/molester? I don't get that.) And that bugs me. Draco's a little shit because he likes being a little shit. :p

A lot of H/D fics have that "Draco's changed a lot over the summer" motif.

Now, all that being said, lokifan has written some tasty H/D that I do like, so maybe it's not the pairing? Just the way they're portrayed in a lot of fanfic?

Oh dude, I totally understand where you're coming from. The thing people forget when they write H/D is that Draco is an asshole and is always going to be an asshole, whether he's ~in love~ or not. Being with someone might have him tone down his assholery a little bit, but really, not by much.

And as for Lucius, I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE DO THAT AND IT APSKFLSJF PISSES ME OFF. That's why I hate writers like slashpervert because the way she writes her H/D makes me want to punch the wall. Every single fic, either one or both of the boys are ~*~*~emotionally crippled~*~*~ and if it's Draco, well of COURSE it's Daddy's fault. :| (And it could not be made clearer that HEY YEAH LUCIUS ACTUALLY DOES ~*~CARE~*~ ABOUT HIS FAMILY, GUYS, or did no one pay attention to the last couple of books?)

Yeah that motif is horrible and overused, I really hate it. B|

I think I've read some of her fic. :D (If not, I will in a bit, lol.) I understand what you mean though, definitely. And one of the things about H/D is that it's one of those pairings in which there is a lot of shit to sift through in order to get to the really good stuff.
