had a rather disjointed chat with a dear friend that's left me feeling out of sorts and rather open-ended. i know that i've not done anything wrong or unwanted, but i still feel kindof awful.

i'm striving to not take any of it personally, because i know that's not how it was intended -- but my brain is starting to work overtime in an effort to make it all my fault. because that's just what my brain does.

i have another page of fic to type, but the desire has abandoned me at the moment.

I'll be fine; I'm sure we'll talk again soon enough and then I'll know that they're alright. I think that's the most uncomfortable part -- they're in a bad place and I couldn't *do* anything to help.

Not that they were looking for my help necessarily, but I'm a "fixer" by nature, so... :p
