i paid money for that cat. i feed him with my money, i shelter him with my money, i get his shots with my money. i am his owner.

i am not his guardian. i am not raising him to be a good member of cat society so that he may one day go out into the world and make his way with other cats.

besides, the cat doesn't give a fuck what i am. as long as he gets feed and has a clean place to shit, he figures he's my owner.

amen, like I said Cats are like little homeless people that you let in your house, or a deadbeat roommate. They're never going to get a job, but you let them stay cuz you love them and you wouldn't want them out in the elements.
so in return they try to be cute to earn their food
