I think the almost-kisses are hotter because they're mutual -- they're leaning into each other, wanting each other. The first kiss, as much as I loved it, was all Reid. With this, we get to see that Luke wants it just as much.

Hee, I swooned at Reid's protectiveness of Luke. And it's all true. Every word.

Yeah, I don't even watch the second clip.

Very good point. There's incredible tension as they moved towards each other. It was amazing. I hope I'll agree with Van that the second kiss is more interesting.

And yeah, Reid being protective was quite swoon-inducing. Poor Luke didn't seem to know what to do with it!
