i've fallen into a horrible writing slump. i just. i have nothing. anything that i try sounds awful and awkward and forced and i hate myself a little because of it.

and i think this is my month to do prompts over at rondracodrabble. hopefully i won't fuck that up too.

I have an amazing plot worked out for my U2 in the Doctor Who universe crossover story that I'm writing for a friend but the link between my brain and the pen in my hand is severed or something. :(

My Muse actually went AWOL for a while, and you know me!! I'm so sorry you're in a slump, but it won't last. Because I know you and that when you do write, it's memorable and hot and you'd better let me beta. Except that if it's in your new fandom love, I don't really know anything about it. Ooops. :(

I did write a couple of things that I couldn't send to you while you were away, and I don't mind telling you: it felt WEIRD. Sending my work to you to beta is a natural part of my writing process. So. Even if what I write if/when I finally do is in a different fandom (which it very probably will be), I still hope that I can send it to you -- if for nothing else than for you to grace it with your brilliant red pen and fix up my grammar and wording and POV and...

(((hugs on you))) I'm sorry I was away! Though it was necessary. I'm glad to be back around, though. In fact, I just beta'ed a story for wolfiekins, and it felt wonderful! So yes, send anything my way. Just do me a favor and if it's in your new and shiny fandom, give me a bit of info about the characters so I'll know who is who. :D

And yeah, the Muse was only gone while I was super foggy, thank goodness. Interestingly, she's actually leading me by the hand over to Tolkienland again. Hmmmmm.
