According to the CDC:
What are the signs and symptoms of this virus in people?

The symptoms of 2009 H1N1 flu virus in people include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea. People may be infected with the flu, including 2009 H1N1 and have respiratory symptoms without a fever. Severe illnesses and deaths have occurred as a result of illness associated with this virus.

...there's a reason they call that particular batch of symptoms "flulikes". Have yer hubby pamper you, don't breathe on the kids, and if you get worse or don't feel better tomorrow go to the doctor; go to the ER if you get short of breath.

Fluids, tylenol, and rest. I cannot emphasize the word rest enough.

Ugh. I'm so sorry to hear that. On the bright side - the really worrisome symptoms of H1N1 are respiratory; if you're not coughing, hopefully this is just a generic Virus That Causes Flulikes.

If you need any meds or anything give me a call and I can drop them off on my way home - I've got a union meeting this afternoon so I'll probably be coming through around 6:30-7:00.

And, seriously, go to the doctor if you don't feel better tomorrow. If it is the flu, they can give you Tamiflu, but you've got to take it pretty quickly.

Uh... death? Maybe?

Oh, then I'm good! I'm not dead.

At least, I don't think I am.

But if I were dead, I wouldn't really know, would I? Hmmmm...

Maybe we're all dead, and this is the afterlife. Or we've all been reincarnated.

I totally should have said "an H1N1 tattoo on your forehead". DX

Pretty much the same symptoms as every other flu, I believe.

*hugs* Hope you feel better soon!

I can empathize COMPLETELY. I'm laid up with the flu as well. I feel like roadkill. Get better, soon!

I think the major symptom to focus on is coughing. I got sick a few weeks ago and got worried because it felt like the flu (fever, headache, sore muscles, chills, fatigue) but turned out it was a virus alright but only a pharyngitis. And my doctor told me that as I didn't cough at all and my lungs sounded clear, there was no reason to worry about swine flu.

It looks like everyone has the symptoms covered, so I won't bother repeating them. Swine flu comes on really super fast, though (at least, it did with me), so I guess that's one way to know you have it? But you should go to the doctor if you even suspect you might have it, because you need to start taking the Tamiflu within the first 48 hours, I think.

*cuddles* I hope you feel better soon. ♥

Your throat isn't sore, and you don't have a fever so that's good... Keep checking it though, because sudden high fevers is a symptom.

Just know that Swine isn't the only flu going around so you just might have a general old flu.

BTW... Hi Whiner Dawson... I don't miss your mug on Cable TV AT ALL!!!

Hmmm....do you have the desire to roll around in mud? Any "oinking" going on? Any need to hunt for truffles?

If not, then you're good.

but to be honest, swine flu symptoms are EXACTLY the same as the regular flu. Just get lots of rest and lots of water.

Go to bed. Take care of yourself. Do not mess around with the flu or I will smack you with my post from yesterday.

Some "unusual" symptoms that I had were pustules on the roof of my mouth the bled when they burst and HORRIBLE pain in my knees and lower back. Not everyone gets those, but if you have flu symptoms and those things, it's a warning sign.
