Well, 18 is legal here, too. But now, I could actually get him drunk first.

It'll never happen, of course, but the idea that it could is quite thrilling, lol.

That shouldn't be a factor. Lord knows they've released racier stuff. :p The main concern is ensuring a big enough return to make US distribution worthwhile.

I'd let the girls over at Ice Cream Man know that the distribution company wasn't sure about a US release, and they kind of took the ball and ran with it. They'd assumed that Cherrybomb would be released here, with the popularity of Rupert and the HP franchise.

If their distribution campaign works in getting Cherrybomb over here, I feel like I had a tiny part to play in making it happen. :)
