crwilley, mightyafrodite and i huddled up together and watched 'eastern promises' last night.

omg it was so good; brimming with a thick plot, rich characterizations and lots of blood, violence and unnecessary roughness (it *is* a david cronenberg movie).

and a naked viggo mortensen. an ALL-STAR NAKED viggo mortensen. alkjalskj

and of course, i managed to get a slash pairing out of it. nikolai/kirill, your ust is divine.

mightyafrodite, you said you wanted an icon from that one scene in the movie. well, i got a little graphics-happy with it.

GOD. When we were watching the movie, I said, "I know I'm supposed to be looking at Viggo here, but whoever that playing Kirill is KILLING me."

And the scene with the prostitutes? With all of his shirt-open hotness? It was almost too much.

Naked Viggo is awesome. Fighting naked Viggo, well, that's fucking EPIC.

But as taken as I was with him, it was Vincent Cassel's character that kept stirring my blood. MY GOD, that man is hot. And Kirill was so gay for Nikolai -- it was wonderful.
