Honestly, I've loved David Bowie since I was a little girl. I think my father turned me onto him originally, and I just loved him right away. His voice is magic to me. Of course, it doesn't hurt - and I didn't know this then - that the man is SEX ON LEGS. He's so talented and sexy and inventive and ground-breaking. My love for David cannot be contained.

I love smutfic. Reading it, writing it, beta-ing it -- whatever. I've heard somewhere that the brain is the most powerful sexual organ. Smutfic feeds that, and the other bits at the same time. Currently, I'm writing a smutfic set in my friend thrihyrne's delicious "Crown of Rope" universe, in which Ron and Draco will get up to what I hope will be epic naughty. Which kind of brings me to number 4. :)

I SHIP IT SO HARD.

Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy are my favorite characters in the Harry Potter series. Their hate for each other is so epic that I couldn't help but wonder how *explosive* their love could be. They've never let me down.

05 Ozymandias

As you all know, I love Ozy. I tried to hate him, I really did -- but I just couldn't. I love his duality, the fact that he thinks this awful thing he's done is good, that it's for the right reasons. He really does, in his very twisted way, want to achieve world peace.

Let's face it -- Ozymandias is a fierce hot bitch who pwns people with his mind and l33t fighting skills. He has a purple lynx. And a compound in Antarctica. And he always gets invited to Studio 54.

And the fact that Matthew Goode is so good-looking that it debilitates me certainly doesn't hurt.

Hee! I love 'China Girl.' Definitely one of the sexiest songs he's ever recorded. When I was little, I thought he was saying, "It's in the white of my rice."

God, that sounds so rascist. I was seven when that song came out. It was called "China Girl." It made sense to me then. :looks around nervously:

I was fairly late to the fanfiction game, though I wrote some original stuff - het, if you can believe it - back in the day.

Oh. I love Harry Potter, and I hate that it took me so long to get into the fandom. It really does grab ahold of you. And Ron and Draco own me.

I know Ozy was technically the "villain" of Watchmen, but I just can't bring myself to dislike him, arrogance and all. I can even kindof forgive what he did because in the end, it did work. It's the same way I can't hate The Comedian, despite the fact that he's done some truly awful things.

Yeah, I'm a big n00b to fanfic, too. Only been into it for about a year now (maybe a little less, even). I got all my smut from books before that. ;)

In my book, Watchmen has no villians. :p I've never actually tried to face the answer to that question: is what he does right? That's why I'm not too interested in any post-novel fanfic. Because I don't want to know. I don't want to know if his Eutopia succeeds or if Rorschach's journal fucks up everything.

Ozzy does some really bad things (giving all those people cancer is right up there with his masterstroke), but it was all part of his plan. I think he believes the world would have been doomed if he hadn't. Collateral damage. Would you kill thousands of people to save billions? He is the world's smartest man (followed closely by Jon, IMO, who also agrees that what he does is for the best), and I'd like to think that he makes a decision we never could simply because he is so smart.

Heh, and thanks for the recent compliments on my icons. I need to bring the funny as well as the sexy. xD Still love your Adrian in his Captain Fierce hat.

It's his arrogance. He thinks he's the only one who knows how to manipulate people because he's "The Smartest Man in the World" and he does. And then he takes out the one person who recognizes him for exactly what he is, drives away the one person who can be blamed for what he did, causes the one person who has the guts to reveal his plans to be killed, and allows two other people to live the lives they've always wanted. Okay, that last bit was good.
