So I dragged mightyafrodite to see "Watchmen" with me again, because 1) she needed to see it because it's fucking awesome, 2) I REALLY wanted to see it again and 3) she needed to witness the sex that is Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias.

She loved it. And she now loves Adrian too. How could she not? NO ONE CAN RESIST HIS FIERCE HOT BITCHNESS.

Seeing it the second time around, I was able to catch things that I'd missed the first time, particularly this:



Adrian Veidt has a folder on his sooooooper seekrit floppy disk devoted to boys. What kind of boys? Are they cute boys? Are they cute redheaded boys?

I don't know whether to be aroused or frightened by this. :/

And why did my husband have to compare Ozy to a grown-up supervillain!Draco? Damn him. Damn him to Hell.

I need a hit again this weekend. I'm turning into a fucking junkie. :\

i went to see it again with my sister (again) and i totally realized that i am in fucking love with adrian veidt/ozymandias/matthew goode. i nearly died when he shook hands with bowie. it was nice watching it again because i was so busy squeeing to see david bowie than to realize adrian personally went out of his way to shake hands with him. now i ship them. which leads me to the boys folder which caused my sister to crack up. i'm sure it's filled with pictures of bowie. adrian veidt inspired bowie's thin white duke phase. hello. i'm making a fanmix for him, too. because i ... love ... him ...

I did too. The whole opening sequence was made of awesome, but that was the win cherry on the top. (Even though I HATE ADRIAN WITH A BURNING PASSION, he does get cool points for touching Ziggy Stardust. He's also an effective supervillain.)

I so need to see Watchmen again. I have a free weekend coming up. Hmmm...

There are many bits of slashy in the movie... During the picture of Sally's retirement off to the right (of the screen) Hooded Justice and either Dollar Bill or Mothman are making googly eyes at each other.

In the comic I believe Rorschach makes a comment about Adrian "Possibly homosexual. Must investigate further."


Now, I love that movie! Rorschach is just amazingly badass. I also loved see that Adrian had an Action Figure version of Bubastis with the other ones.
