I know Yates is going to play up the romantic tension and awkwardness between Ron and Hermione, but I can't help but wonder if he's a H/Hr shipper in seekrit. Hee, Harry has stubble.

Thank you for posting these. Draco looks like he's finally entered the plot. I know look at that broadness. It's almost like they can barely find a robe/clothes large enough for him. Drooling! See I don't mind the helmet except I do agree of being miffed not seeing hair flowing. He looks cute in hats. My only gripe is Draco's hair. It looks loads better than the last two but I always invisioned shoulder length hair or at least the length in PoA. But he looks stunning.

Hee, I think he's wearing a helmet 'cos he's the 'keeper (pretty sure the goalkeepers have always wore helmets). Bit of a disappointment though - hopefully he'll take it off and throw it aside as soon as he's off the pitch (and done with his boiled eggs).

I have very mixed feelings about this film. I hated the book. It's the only one that I've never been able to re-read. And it's mainly because I thought it was so anti-Ron. I really felt JKR had gone off him in this one! He's missing from so much of it too, and goodness knows in the past they've always been quick to steal his lines and give them to Hermione that I really fear it will end up like 'The Harry & Hermione Show'.

Of course will force *cough* myself to go and see it so I can make a full, independent assessment of the screen adaptation *mumble...and to see Rupert in his Quidditch uniform...mumble, mumble*

Ron is a real jackass in HBP. I found myself wanting to smack him in the head with a smart-bat quite a bit while I was reading it. :p

What I liked about the sixth book is how much we get to see of Draco and his state of mind. I've always had a soft spot for Draco, even though (and maybe because) he's an absolute shit, and you get to see behind all of that for a bit in this one.

They denied my Rupert in Quidditch robes in OotP. I can't *not* see this movie, even if it's just for that. I'm not proud.

I don't think they're including "Weasley is our King," which is a good thing, because Draco singing about Ron would just be too much to take.

And yes, I do like the exploration of Draco's character in HBP (one of my biggest disappointments in Deathly Hallows was that JKR didn't develop these other facets to Draco's character - such a waste). And of course in my own little fanfic mind I interpret his behaviour in all sorts of lovely R/D types of ways ;)

I'm fucking dying from see these pics...I was all squee on my own LJ and come here and see more FTW-ness...guh...Draco looks fucking amazing, they should always have his hair like that...and Ron, his face is priceless, and yes Hermione is going to be the usual know-it-all and she's going to make me cringe in the movie, but I'm digging Dan's stubble...and you know I'm' a Harry/Ginny shipper, so them marrying for reals...amen, sister...amen.
