Don't get me wrong, I love my LJ with all my ampersandHEARTSsemicolon. But don't be arbitrarily just going and changing shit on my journal, plz? *headroll/fingersnap*

I hate it as well. It conflicts with everyone's layout and doesn't even look shiny. And it's utterly useless.

And I hate that turning the options for it off on my lj doesn't really matter one bit since other ljs where the navigation bar isn't off forces it back at me. Grr!

YES. Silly LJ. And their new Beta layout is crazy confusing. But that might just be my womanly brain fizzling at the idea of new things.

I thought the nav bar was only there if you decided to use it... in other words, it didn't get put on every journal... it gets put there by your account if you clicked a link for it.

Not to mention it comes with a link to remove it right on it, if you don't want it.

Originally, that was the idea, I believe. I had clicked the option off.

When I logged on to my journal today, the bar was there. The same thing happened to several of my friends.

I removed it without a problem. I've gone in and unchecked the options for the bar again...hopefully this time it will stay put.

I added to mine weeks ago, because the constant change back and forth between the opt-ins and out-outs was more annoying than having it there all the time. If the opt out also meant that you didn't see everyone else's, I'd go for it.

Yes this happened to me too. I noticed it day before yesterday. Stupid ugly nav bar. Not only on my journal but every other one I read. LJ FORCES me to look at it. Stupid stupid stupid. I have this irrational hatred of it.
