I will NEVER understand what people like about the movie "Donnie Darko"
It is complete and utter SHIT.
When it was out in the theaters, I saw it for free (I have friends that work in movie theaters) and I wanted my money and my 2 hours back. I want to find whoever wrote that movie and beat him with a spiked bat.
Sure it has all the markings of a "cult movie"
its not a "hollywood-cookie-cutter" type of movie
but I think it was poorly thought out and only uses cheap shock to entertain the audience.
I think people only like this movie because they think they HAVE to
Like being part of a special "cool" club of people who are entrusted with the secret of "WHAT_THE_FUCK" is going on in the movie
Its not "Cult", its "Crap"
