I totally sat and watched American Idol last night, because danradcliffe.uk has posted a report that he had done pre-recorded bit for their "Idol Gives Back" campaign.
Well, for whatever reason, they didn't air it. >:|
So I sat through two frakkin' hours for pretty much nothing. Well, the "Staying Alive" bit was kind of funny because Hugh Laurie was in it, and Josh Groban is always awesome, but I wouldn't have waited two hours for those things.
It looks as though it's been chalked up to not having enough time to run it. Bleh.
Oh well. What's really important is that it's all for an absolutely necessary cause, and they raised nearly $30 million for one.org. Amazing.
I'm just glad it wasn't Rupert scheduled to be on there...I probably would have thrown things.
Oh! And not only was there no DanRad, but all of the AI contestants were deemed "safe" because it was a charity event.
Now, I don't regularly watch the show, so I interpreted that to mean:
"Because we love the children, we won't dropkick your no-talent ass this week."
