He really did. Noah has a wildly misplaced sense of entitlement when it comes to Luke.
This line makes me gnash my teeth a little:

So. "When you came back"? What, did you think that Luke was still going to be in that little corner you shove him into, waiting for you to get your head out of your ass? -_-
And my worst fear about Noah regaining his sight came true. That he'd be all, "OH HEY LUKE. NOW THAT I CAN SEE, I LOVE YOU AGAIN." >.<
Because you know if the operation hadn't worked, Noah would STILL be blaming Luke for it.
