I've commissioned another piece of fanart! I have been so lucky in that regard: I already have two pieces (here and here), and the original of this* that my dear heart, stuckinsea got for me. This time it's going to be a scene for the R/D silliness I'm writing, done by the_gwyllion.

Why am I excited about this? Because the_gwyllion does stuff like this, and this, and this.

It'll be a while before it's done -- she's a very busy lady -- but I know it's going to be gorgeous.

I'm having a major bout with writer's envy right now.

I was re-reading the snippet that a dear friend sent to me, and the whole time I'm thinking, "Nothing I write will ever be this good, I don't know why I bother."

I made a commitment, and I want to see it through, but everything is starting to sound trite and boring and I kindof want to give up.
