We found out yesterday that

fmh's older brother Jason and his wife, Ernestine are having another baby.

A sibling for their one year old. Wow.

I'm geeked about the news, to be honest. Being with

fmh, I've found out that I love kids. I adore them. Not just as babies, but as they grow and progess and change into their very individual selves. It's amazing to see...and even more so to be a part of it. I love being a mom, a sister and (officially) an aunt.

This makes 9 grandchildren on

fmh's side, 4 of them coming within the last 3 years: Emily (Jay and Ern's first) is a year old, then comes Aidan (his sister Shannon and her fiance's boy) at 7 months, next comes Kieran (

fmh's and mine) and now this newest baby. Watching them all together is going to be a hoot. Walking, toddling, crawling and stroller-ing. Oh boy.

I got to tell Hoku last night. She squeed -- Hoku loves babies.

I finally got around to changing my layout a bit. I'd struggled with what I wanted to do, and then I discovered one Boyd Holbrook. A tall, lanky, blonde male model from Kentucky. Normally not my type, but...I swear to any deity that he is a growed-up Draco Malfoy.
