kieran's taken a tumble down the stairs.

from what fmh is telling me, he was pushing kendra in her stroller, pushed it too far, stroller went down the stairs and he held on to it to try and stop it.

kendra is fine.

kieran's got a pretty nasty abrasion on the left side of his face, and the area around his eye is swollen. they've taken him to university of michigan children's hospital where they're going to run a cat scan along with some other tests, i'm sure. the emts didn't seem to think that it was serious, calling the ambulance was a 'better to be safe than sorry' measure. my mother has gone to the hospital with him, so fmh could stay here with the baby and to keep the girls from freaking out. i just got home from work -- trying to stay positive and not freak out myself.

kieran's home from the hospital. he's got a concussion, and he's pretty badly banged up, but he's going to be okay. thankfully nothing is broken, and the cat scan came back clean. right now, he's just really tired and groggy, which is understandable, given the circumstances.
