Just think, soon he'll be coming home with strange bruises on his neck and smelling oddly of some sort of girly perfume, and then he'll be asking for the keys to the car, and then he'll graduate, and then he'll move out, and get married, and have ellebenty eleven kids of his own for you to smother in love and sugar and send back to him all hyped up on glucose, and-

Damn!! When the hell did that happen? I'm still amazed that my niece is graduating from HS this year. And my nephew is now a teenager.

Time goes by so quickly. I cried for 2 weeks when my youngest started school - I was bereft without my little mate chattering away next to me. Luckily I now work at their school so I actually get to see them during the school day which is lovely...until they move on to high school (I might have to book myself into a care home when that happens!).
