i have a newish layout to celebrate my newest obsession.

recently, i started watching an anime called "ouran high school host club." i think single_path had mentioned it to me a long while ago, but I didn't actually start watching it until hoku turned me on to it.

it's probably the most perfect anime ever for someone like me -- happy and extremely funny, great characterizations and sorta!twincest that i don't even have to make up.

so, i've been loving this show, and NOW, thanks to my new wife, icanhaspancake, i have a new pairing to obsess over. tamaki/kyouya. fffff thanks a lot, sarah.

their mommy/daddy love is so canon. i'm really crazy about them.



so, if you see a blond boy and a black-haired boy with glasses anywhere around my journal (and you will), rest easy. it is not draco/harry. it's tamaki and kyouya.

There's nothing to be sorry for love! To be honest, I'd hesitated about putting them up there because they do look a lot like Harry/Draco.

Originally, I didn't want to think of them as a pairing because of the resemblance, but their meantness just got to be too much to resist.

I just don't want anyone thinking that I'm abandoning the Ron/Draco lovin' or anything. :)

Honey calls him Kyou-chan, and then he's also kind of known as the Shadow King, but I can't remember if one person specifically calls him that, or if it's just kind of a general thing. I think that's it.

I blame icanhaspancake for all of this. I was all ready to ship the redheaded twins, Hikaru and Kaoru (you don't even have to make up the twincest), and she was all, "YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T SEE THE MOMMY/DADDY LOVE BETWEEN KYOUYA AND TAMAKI?"

No, sadly they don't truly get together, they're just really close friends. Tamaki (the blond one) declares that Kyouya is his very best friend after they've known each other for about a day. They're SO cute.

Okay. You need to watch just a little so you'll see that I'm not completely crazy.

Skip to about 5:30 into this clip for the Mommy/Daddy reference (hearing Kyouya call Tamaki "Daddy" was one of the best moments of my life) , and then this one at about 4:30 for a peek of the twincest. And the inevitable fangirling. XD

They do seem a bit fluffy, especially since your comfort movie is/was Watchmen. ;)
