sexyscholar is still in the hospital, most likely till Thursday, so I'm posting for her to let everyone know how things went.
First of all the C-section was flawless andsexyscholar is just fine, just a little sore and a lot tired. And happy. She was definitely happy. :)
Kendra is perfect. Kendra Renee Bain born Monday, Feb. 23rd at 1:00pm on the dot, weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and she's 21 inches long.
Okay, this is really just a cross post of what I put in my own journal. I'm kinda' lazy that way. Sorry.
Anyways...Pictures!.
Tomorrow I will get some where we can see all of her and she's wearing clothes. But it was a big day for her so we left her swaddled and secure.
Now my wife is notoriously touchy about having her picture taken, doubly so posted, but ya' gotta have one picture of mum and baby together. So I have just one and I'll risk my wifes ire...but it's a really good one. :)
Too bright, loud and cold!!
Of course this is the part where the nurses are measuring her, rolling her around, wiping her off and generally roughing her up. It's a rude welcome, you'd be upset to. ;)
