Writer's Block: Perfect Sandwich

My perfect sandwich, eh?

My perfect sandwich is an invention of mightyafrodite's and mine called the "Dronwich." Yes. It's a Draco/Ron sandwich. And it's fucking awesome.

~ You start with dark rye bread. Because they'd need a sturdy bed.
~ Next, you spread on a layer of hot & sweet mustard. My favorite is Inglehoffer Sweet Hot Mustard. Because, well. That pairing is all kinds of hot and sweet for me.
~ Add roast beef. IT MUST BE ROAST BEEF. This is the Ron. Meaty, juicy, a little on the rare side. Yum.
~ Add smoked turkey. Yes, this is a meaty sammich. The turkey is Draco: pale and dry, but can crumble. And Draco would insist on being on top. ;)
~ Add arugula. Yes. ARUGULA. It's a heavier, more flavorful green with a slightly peppery taste. It *has* to be arugula or the sandwich doesn't taste the same. Arugula is the sheets.
~ Top it with another slice of dark rye bread, and you're all done.

This is a dark, hot, sweet, melt-in-your-mouth kind of sandwich when it's done right. Honestly.

Now I want one. Goddammit.

My favorite sandwich is merely peanut butter & jelly mixed in a bowl beforehand, with a glass of milk. I'm a simpleton, really. ;D

Peanut butter and jelly mixed together? I've never thought about doing it that way. I could eat that. It'd have to be on toast, though. I'll only eat PB & J on toast. IDK.

LOL! It's supposed to. ;) The Dronwich is awesome. And it tastes SO good. All that flavor tumbling around together. I'm hungry now.

That followed by a cup of hot Weasley love (Starbuck's Caramel Apple Cider), and you'll be set for hours. Srsly.

PB&J is so much better that way. I can't eat it any other way now, without mixing it up beforehand. Somehow makes it more creamy and delicious!

I need a... Rarrywich. Hronwich. Drahaonwich (Draco/Harry/Ron) OMG it sounds indian. I now have to invent sandwiches for threesomes...

PS I used to eat PB&J burritos all the time. I buttered the burrito before putting the PB&J on there. It's so... juicy. My brother taught me that. Comes in handy when there's hardly anything to eat, but makes you feel like a cow.

Turkey, ham & roast beef. Light rye bread with seeds -- mellow, but not exactly smooth. You'd still need the hot, sweet mustard. Spinach. And tomatoes to make it a little sloppy.

Hmmm...funny, Von and I just had this discussion last night.
The perfect layered sandwich:
An old, salty, wooden ship
Kiera Knightly on deck, in a pirate wench outfit
Natalie Portman on deck, in a similar pirate wench outfit
Madonna (ealry-mid 90's version) enters the scene from below deck, in a Pirate Captain outfit
Then Angelina arrives, (she plays the "bad" pirate, hehehe)...and attempts to capture them all.
Angelina and Madonna would have to wrestle. Naked. In mud. Jello. whipped cream!

And then Salma Hayek would show up. Naked.

*sigh*

Oh, wait...you mean an actual sandwich, to be eaten. Well, I think I could live off of that sammich for a long, long time. :)
