Mild Disappointment

Well, I have not gone into labor yet. I keep hoping against hope that something will start up tonight or tomorrow.

pregnancy

Hey, it could happen.

I went to the doctor's today for my prenatal checkup...I'm only about a centimeter dilated. Everything's going well, though. His heartrate is great at 130. He's firmly wedged where he should be. The doctor seems to think that Ky's going to be a big baby. We'll see, I 'spose. I have two stress tests and another prenatal check-up scheduled for next week. Then another stress test the following week and an induction date, though the doc doesn't think I'll need it. I hope she's right.

We're ready. The nursery's ready. The kids are ready. Our friends are ready.

We're just waiting on this kid. Punkass.

I'm so tired. Sleep is not existant these days. My feet look like they've had bladders injected into them. My legs constantly ache. And I think Kieran's getting pissed off because he can't move around like he used to. Gone are the days of extreme acrobatics. :p

I should probably go eat now. Burritos are the awesomest, y0.

Fingers are crossed. :)

(For what it's worth, at this point, the place I was most comfortable was soaking in a slightly warm bathtub. Have someone run you a bubble bath, and help you in and out of the tub.)

A coworker of mine really wanted to go into labor so she told me she was runing up and down the stairs to get the kid to come out :)

I'm told greasy food can help encourage things.
