Home again home again, jiggity-jig.

Flew back in last night. My head still aches, but with a little TLC from The Hubby, I didn't mind so much. ^_~

My vacation was good, and mostly restful. mightyafrodite and I mostly just hung out at her place, with some outings here and there. She's training for her summer job, so we were pretty shut in during the day. I usually went out for my walks. ^_^

Sadly, we didn't get to see 'Iron Man' or 'Prince Caspian,' which I was kind of bummed out about, but oh well. We had our man/boy-squee time regardless, watching season one of 'The Tudors' and what we called 'Men in Leather Skirts/Skivvies' Week. '300,' 'Alexander,' 'King Arthur,' that kind of thing. The only one missing was 'Troy.'

I got to see feisty1 and finally met her girlfriend, Von. She's awesome. I can really see a maturity and confidence in feisty1 that hasn't been there for a long time, and we've known each other for 20+ years. I'm so proud of her.

The only real bummer of the trip for me was the fact that I didn't get to meet thrihyrne. We were at the same mall, but we must have walked right around each other. Cell phones didn't work and it just...oh man. I don't know what happened.

I cried about that more than once, to be honest. I didn't realise how important meeting her in person was to me until it didn't happen. :sigh: Well, I am nothing if not determined. I *will* meet her, and stuckinsea, in person someday...

...mightyafrodite has been making noises about seeing 'Equus' when it comes to Broadway in September. >_>
